Well, we cannot
imagine a day without Facebook. Day by day, tech becomes smarter and better.
Right now are the days of smart phones that rule the world. At this moment, can
you just imagine the number of active mobile Facebook users? The statista
Statistics reveal that around 1.25 billion active users use Facebook mobile.
But what’s in it is
if you are one among those active users, probably you would have noticed some
important features that lacks on Facebook. One among them is the lack of video
download option. We enjoy watching videos shared by our mates, relatives,
family members whatever it is. But when it comes to download these videos and
watch it later, it’s a misfortune. There is no such feature yet.
To avoid this
problem, I have found some 3rd party applications that could easily
do the task. Do check it out below.
1) EZ FACEBOOK VIDEO DOWNLOADER
EZ Facebook video Downloader
is one of the best Facebook video downloader that I came across. It makes video
download quicker and easier. EZ has a friendly user interface and the main menu
of the app consists of three tabs- videos, bookmarks and about.
What’s annoying in
this app is you can only choose between two selected download locations by the
app (app gallery and system gallery).
Step by step
tutorial to download video is given below.
STEP 1: Launch EZ Facebook video Downloader and login with
Facebook using the Facebook icon on the top right corner.
STEP 2: Navigate to the targeted video. Suppose if you want to
download video from a Facebook page, open the page. (Here for demonstration
purpose I choose to download from the Buzzfeed video page. You can choose
either your Newsfeed, friends profile or whatever it is.)
STEP 3: As usual tap on the video to watch it. You will get a
toast saying ‘Video Found’
STEP 4: When the video starts playing, you could see a download
icon on the top right corner. Tap on it to give a suitable name for your video
and it will be downloaded. You can see the downloaded videos in the ‘Video’ tab
on the top when the video gets fully downloaded.
Done, there you go.
NOTE
If you cannot find the downloaded video in your gallery, make sure you selected “System’s gallery folder” as the download location. You can do so by navigating to about -> video -> change download folder.
2) VIDEO DOWNLOADER FOR FACEBOOOK
Video downloader for Facebook is another amazing app for Facebook video lovers. It allows you to download Facebook videos from anywhere around Facebook. ‘Download later’ option is available in the app. You can also add videos to your favorites.
What’s amazing in
this app is the “Selected Videos” option. This tab has a collection of videos
based on the category kids, science, sport, fun and entertainment. You can also
share the downloaded videos through Facebook, Whats App, G mail, Picasa, YouTube
and other networks which is definitely a plus.
As I am constantly
telling about the good features, I am supposed to tell the bad ones too. What
annoyed me most are the constant pop up and video ads. Each time I leave or
open a new page, pop up ad appears. Unchangeable download location is another
drawback.
Let’s move on to the
how to guide. It’s so simple and easy J
STEP 1: Launch video downloader for Facebook and as usual login
using Facebook.
STEP 2: Navigate to the targeted video and tap on it to play.
STEP 3: Just above the video player, you can see a download
button, download later button and add to favorites button. Tap on download and
after renaming click OK to start the download. NOTE: you can add to favorites only after downloading the video.
STEP 5: When the video gets fully downloaded, open “my
downloads” to watch video.
3) VIDEOPHOTO LOADER FOR FACEBOOK
Videophoto loader for
Facebook is a dual functioned app. Purposefully I included this app in this
article because after reading this article, I don’t want my readers to question
“Then how can I download Facebook images?”.
Although it is
possible by tapping on “view full size” after opening a photo on Facebook and
saving it your storage, Videophoto loader for Facebook makes it much easier.
This app is entirely
different in all aspects compared to other similar apps mentioned above. But,
how? Well, below, read how to download images from the app and find it yourself
J
STEP 1: Launch videophoto loader app and login to your Facebook
account by clicking on “open Facebook” button.
STEP 2: As I told you before, this is a 2 in 1 app, you can
either choose an image or a video from your profile or a page or something
else. (Here I will show you how to download an Image from your Facebook news
feed)
STEP 3: After deciding which image you want to download, press
and hold the “like” button of that specific image. After 2-3 seconds, you could
see a circle with processing written on it
STEP 4: When processing is complete, the app would ask you to
rename the file as per your wish. Tapping OK initiates the image download.
STEP 5: Finally, when the image is fully downloaded, you could
see a pop up notification which takes you to the downloads folder.
Okay, now you have
completed reading the steps and do you succeed discovering what makes
videophoto loader different from others? Probably yes, I guess J
Well, It is nothing
but the way it downloads images and videos. You need not no longer wait for the
app to start loading video 1%.. 2%.. , playing the video and finally tapping
the download button to start the download. All you have to do is just hold the
like button for 1-2 seconds and you are done J pretty
good. Isn't it?
BONUS TIP
You can also download
Facebook videos easily if you are an opera mini web browser user. If you are
using opera mini app for the very first time, you will feel awkward enough, but
if you start loving this app, sure you cannot find any other app replacement
for this one. This is such a wonderful app. It’s improved data saving methods
help you load web pages with very low data charges. If you are in low network
areas, don’t worry, this app loads web pages damn fast.
Added to these
features is the availability to choose any download folder of your choice. What
lacks in it is you cannot preview the video first. You can simply download
Facebook videos by tapping on the video.
