Hello friends and welcome
back to Digipan. I think you all have been get to know about this monster 4GB
RAM phone, The phone we all have been waiting for. This is going to be an
affordable Android phone that you can buy just like the Asus Zenfone 5 which
was launched last year. So let’s go ahead straight to the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML
review to see what it like is and to check out other specifications.
DESIGN AND BUILD QUALITY: 8/10
The design takes inspiration
but seems good. Zenfone 2 seems to be really cool and has very similar finish
as the LG G3 had and also a very similar volume rocker button on the back. The
design looks pretty good and the metallic finish gives a premium feel. It is
not exactly flat along the sides rather it seems curved towards the upside.

Over the front there is the
5.5 inch full HD screen, capacitive touch buttons,5 megapixel front facing
camera at the top along with earpiece and a couple of censors. Unfortunately
the power button is on the top and the problem is that it is difficult to reach
while using the phone with one hand. A 3.5mm jack and microphone are present on
the top on either sides of the power button.

Over the bottom there is the
primary USB port .As the volume keys are at the back, the left and right side
of the device is untouched. Due to the curved edges, it is pretty sure that it
does not provide much grip while using one hand. The 13 megapixel camera and
speaker grill are also present on the back. In terms of the heavy factor, the
phone is slightly heavy at 170g.
SPECIFICATION AND SOFTWARE: 8.5/10
Zenfone 2 has new Zen UI in
action based on Android 5.0 Lollipop which is definitely good. Zen UI is smooth,
fast and seamless. While using this phone, you can come across many features
that are applicable only to the Zen UI. Now the most impressive thing about
this device is the 4 GB RAM which makes it a very special phone as compared to
other market phones. The phone is fast enough In terms of the overall performance.
Zenfone 2 runs on Intel atom z3560 quad core processor. Transition and
Navigation is smooth and perfect. Apps and Games are admirable and multi tab
browsing never shows any type of lags. The phone comes with 28 preloaded apps
many of which you will feel absolutely no need of. Zenfone 2 is powered by a
64-bit 2.3 GHz Super Quad-Core Intel® Atom™ Z3580 processor.
CAMERA: 7/10

The front facing 5 mega pixel
camera helps you enjoy taking selfies. The phone also has a selfie panorama
mode.
BATTERY: 7.5/10

The Zenfone 2 ZE551ML is well equipped with a 3,000mAh battery, which is sadly not user-replaceable despite the back being removable. With Zenfone 2, you can charge your battery up to 60% in less than 40 minutes. The 3000 mAh battery is pretty good. By using a single sim card the phone lasts as much as 9 days in standby mode. But the graph goes down to 7.5 days when using the second available sim. The voice calls eats the battery under 15 hours. Without a huge buffer, The Zenfone can make through the day.
SHOULD I BUY ASUS ZENFONE 2?-FINAL VERDICT

I am really impressed with Zenfone
2.It is also available in black, gold, grey, red and white color. The phone is
more preferred for people who love customizing their phones. You can do a lot
many things with the UI. Camera facilities are good. Overall this phone looks
like a pretty good phone depending on what price it is launched. Negative
include the battery issue and if it is resolved, the device is gonna rule the
smart phone industry. Hardly all the required features are available in a mid
budget price. As far as the price is concerned, I suggest, anything about
22,999 INR is not something just to fight for.
Anyway thanks for reading my review and
if you have some specific questions about this device,we would love to help you
in all possible ways. :)
