Before coming into the topic, let me ask you a question.
What’s the one and only one thing that you hate about your Android smart phone?Well, for me it’s the battery life and what about you? Probably YES, I guess.
So here are
my top 5 picks for the best battery saver apps for Android that could literally
boost your battery life. But before we get started let me tell you that there
is no app that can extend your battery life to a month. All you can do is use
optimized settings and don’t run unwanted apps on background.
1) GREENIFY
Greenify is one of my favorite apps till
date and to describe it is basically an app that hibernate the background
running apps and boost your battery life thereby making your device a little
bit smoother. What this actually means is that the app actually hibernate
anything in the background and thus helping you to save your precious battery
juice.

For example if
I launch Face book on my phone and after my use when I turn off the screen, it
will go into a hibernating state and it won’t reactivate its services unless I
open Face book again. As a result the benefit includes that it saves some CPU,
Saves some battery life, and makes your device smoother than before.
Unlike other task
killers, instead of killing the running apps, Greenify on the other hand
hibernates the app into a nonreactive mode. So it does sound absolutely
awesome and I have been impressed with that.
Give it a try,
it’s probably awesome and definitely saves you some battery and it should make
your device a little bit SMOOTHER.
2) GO POWER MASTER

It is actually a good application that extends the life of your Smartphone. This app has many profiles to save your battery and also a couple of tools like charge maintenance. If your device is rooted, then this app can offer more features in their premium versions like CPU smart control which turn down the CPU process by killing the background apps and by reducing power consumption.
3) JUICE DEFENDER
So what actually is
Juice Defender? Yes, It is a great app that help to extend your battery life,
so essentially what it does is after locking the phone, it quickly shuts off
features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Mobile data etc helping in increased battery
life.

The app is quite
easy to use and is an extremely useful app. To start the app, you can simply enable
it from the menu. It has 5 preset options to choose from and based on which
type of user you are, aggressive, extreme or a heavy user you can customize how
you want the app to run. But I recommend the balanced option because it won’t
slow down the performance.
You are definitely
in need of this app in the long run.
4) DU-BATTERY SAVER
We use our mobile
devices a lot doing so many different things but sometimes it can be hard to
get everything done when you have a low battery, but luckily the app Du Battery
Saver will help you get the most out of your battery in no time.

Du battery
saver contains Battery, Saver, Toolbox, Charge and Monitor tabs lie across the
bottom and the battery menus where the users can get a clear run down on how
the battery is doing. Everything is made extremely easy for users using this
app and the savers menu is a great example. You can even customize settings of
your own use such as screen brightness, Wi-Fi etc. Whatever you like can be
done on this app.
There is a lot for
people to enjoy in this app. Charge menu shows you how much time you have left
on you battery. Du battery saver also shares cool tips to make your battery
healthy. From the calendar options you can see all your charging records in one
great spot.
5) BATTERY DOCTOR
The app features a clean User Interface that
makes the app best among the others.
Battery doctor gives a rough estimate about how much battery life
remaining in the current charge. It also shows how much battery you can save by
turning off certain apps of your device. It’s a good tool to manage which apps
should be turned off, or which apps should continue to us, how much time you
have left having that specific application on and much more cool features.

The main
app screen contains a SAVE POWER button and this tool after optimizing your
device shows an estimate on how to save battery for you. One special thing Battery Doctor does is its
intelligent methods during charging to maximize battery life. It’s a great
feature and you are not gonna find any other application having the same. It
also gives the detailed report of the various charges done before.
So
these are my best 5 picks on how I saved my battery life. If you guys have some
tips of your own that you would like to share, be sure to leave it as a comment
